The only days when you don’t have to put money in the meter for parking are on Sundays and City of Boston holidays. But, as one might ask, when are City of Boston holidays and do they differ from national ones? Well, find out below! In case you’re wondering, the City of Boston includes all usual federal and state holidays, plus a few more. Those few include Evacuation Day (March 17), Patriots Day (April 16), and Bunker Hill Day (June 17).Of course, sometimes the Mayor declares free parking. Good luck trying to find a spot!
